About RURO

Not an agency.A studio for people.

RURO is a small studio. We write, design, build and look after personal websites for founders and executives. Agencies work for companies. We work for the people behind them.

The name

Reputation. Uniquely. Represented. Online.

01 · The studio

The personyou work with.

A one-person studio, on purpose. Whoever interviews you also writes, designs and looks after your site.

A promise from the founder

I will write your story with you, never from a template. You will approve every word. Your site will run on accounts you own, and I will keep it from going stale.

Nothing about you is published until you have said yes.

How we work

Four principles.

Authorship
Your site says who you are, in your own words. We write the first draft and you approve it.
Restraint
We leave things out. A few true things, well told, say more than a long list.
Permanence
Your site runs on accounts you own. It is made to last, and we keep it from going stale.
Discretion
We never publish a client’s name, work or details without their written permission.
